I also ride to locations where i jog. So the shield at the tank is the contact point for my sweaty legs and not the actual paintwork. It's easy to clean after that!

When i loosened the fairing and put it back in the catch, the race shield peeled off abit but the actual fairing itself was saved, totally no cracks, no scratches no nothing. I was quite surprised when i cut away part of the raceshield that peeled off. no damage and the impact of the knock as actually quite hard until the whole bike shook. How did i know the bike shook? Cos i got on alarm and it sounded the first time the lorry knocked into my bike. Therefore i caught the second time it knocked into my bike again...

So i say, its definitely a good investment

Hey Stan. Thx for the incredible patience and professionalism working on my KTM RC8 yesterday. This testimony is late in coming since you did my Yamaha R1SP last year, but I need to "test" the shield's effectiveness and your workmanship against real world usage. The SP's shield is scuffed up a bit from my clumsiness and that bears testimony to the protection afforded by the Shield. Nothing peeled and my bike still looks glam. So I am convinced my RC will likewise be protected well.

Thx again Stan & the Race Shield!.

Of course i remember you! I'm really sorry about the late reply though...

The RaceShield is really good and it did protect my paintwork from the stones that hit the fuel tank and mudguard on the NSH.

If I change bike in the future, I'll sure put RaceShield on the bike!

Best Regards,

Hi Stanley,

I am very satisfied with the protection provided by race shield. During my trips to Thailand it covers the most critical parts of the bike although I also would like to have a cover for the rear fender and the gas tank front.

But in summary I am very happy and have already recommended you further.

Must say this is a MUST for all helmet collectors or those who are afraid of damaging your precious helmets. It makes the helmet the shiny base always and cleaning it now has never been easier.

Will recommand it to other users and install for mine new helmets as well.

But quite ex lah, whole set for CB400 cost me about $196. Don't know about Fazer, maybe more than mine.

gives me a piece of mind when riding & not to worry so much about flying stones or keys accidentally scraching the tank. It's a product worth investing for protecting the oem paintwork.

He was very dedicated, and treated my bike like it was his own.

Having one on the under tray is important.

Just like my bf also....just got his FJR afew days ago & got a tiny chip off on his side pannies...so heartache....so go install his pannies with raceshield than 2weeks later lost balance on his bike on Msia trunk rd & crash on a cub with a little scratch mark on the Shield, paintwork ok....

If u really like to care for ur bike spending is worth it.

I had my brand new Ducati raceshielded by Stanley and it was a good experience. Not only is he a knowledgeable person but treats your vehicles well. What is really impressive is his after-sales service, which I experienced first hand. Stanley patiently re-did a panel on my bike without question which I accidently removed.

The product is great, invisible yet strong. My bike is safe from nicks and yet you can easily clean and polish it. This is a worthy investment for anyone that values their vehicles!

Took A LOT of effort to really break the shield. This thing is strong and elastic. I think it'll do a good job at deflecting road debris. It is not really that invisible but it doesn't look ugly.

Although the piece for the flyscreen doesn't fit really well (I think the dimensions are for the Speed Triple instead of for my Street Triple), I went back to him and he re-do it for me free of charge. No complains, no excuses and very patient and still very polite even though it was a busy evening and near his closing time.

Race Shield is definately a good product if installed properly and if the dimensions are right. If you love your bike and have the spare cash, go for it. I think it is the very first thing that you should install on your brand new bike.

Just got my Fazer '08 Raceshielded. I must say Stanley's dedication to his craft is awesome and I would recommend this product as its a good way of protecting your bike while at the same time maintaining a low profile.
Upz!

Great product coupled with great seller who knows his bike stuff, talking to him while looking at his work of art is a joy. The person who treats ur bike more precious that U would. Don't wait if U are very particular abt taking care of ur bike, my recent blast for 300plus km, not even a single chip at all. Amazing!

Anyway, the RACEshield looks so invisible that only train eyes can see it thus there is no worries that 'itchy' people will tear it away. Nothing happens so far on headlight... hmmm maybe because there is RACEshield there....hmmmm

Great product for the price. Truly worth protecting your investment.

One thing though, get it done when you ride the bike out from the showroom asap. Leaving it till later when there are already chipped paintwork would cause the film not to mate with the bike surface leaving tiny imperfections at those places.

Lastly a good product does not amount to much without good service. Stan is the man. His attitude and service made my transaction with him great.

Just sharing my experience in using a particular product that is very useful. I am not a seller. Just a biker.

If you have ridden bikes long enough, you would see parts of the frontal aspect of your bike getting eroded and chipped away by stone and wind blast. The paint work getting chipped off to your headlight getting small dents.

And when you try to respray over with a new coat of paint, you realised that there is no aftermarket spray painting that can produce the original OEM paintwork standard.

So for those who wants to keep their bike paintwork in very good condition or do touring up north, you may be interested in this product called Race Shield.

Race Shield is a clear tough protective piece of plastic that once applied onto your bike, it is as good as invisible.

I have bought it and had it installed on my STX1300 Pan European and have been using it for 3 months for now. Within this short period of time, it already has saved my paintwork from several scratched had I not installed Race Shield.
Basically, I have already recovered my investment in the product.

You can read more about my review and experience at my motorcycle blog:

For those who have tried out Race Shield, please share your experience too

Workmanship is great. Took Stanley 3 hours to fully install everything on the bike. He will do it slowly and nicely not damaging any part of your beloved ride. Thumbs Up Stan !!!

I strongly recommend this to our fellow riders out there. Cause our bike.... Is MORE than just a Transport...

A "dent" mark i found on my headlight recently just cant stop me from thinkin if not for the RACEshield that absorb the impact ,i would have had a dent on my headlight ! So a big thanks to Stanley for such a wonderfull product and good job done to my bike ! Cheers !!

overall, i'm happy to have RACEshield installed on my bike.

So far since using it, the result is good. It wont come off easily. I have not come across any stones on the road yet so i cant say whether it helps. But one thing for sure is that it will protect your bike from scratches as a demo was shown to me during installation.

The installer had used a piece of it and asked me to tear it. Its almost impossible and then he used a key to try and poke thru and its almost impossible. The strength used is human bull strength liao.

The shield barely had a scratch on it. If it can shield itself from all these, it will definitely shield from scratches on your bike.

Tank pad piece is the best as when its on the bike, you cant even see much as like nothing is even there but I believe it protects better than normal tank pads. With all the demo, you will definitely believe in this product. See for yourself. No point i say so much.

This is my feedback so far. No complaints yet. Will update if there is any. Btw, mine is S4. For those who does not like to have your bike being covered by something and hide off the beauty of your tank, try this product. It will protect your tank more than anything and retain its beautiful look.

You will not regret with this product. Wonderful.....!

I hv also just got my bike 'shielded'!!! 2 thumbs up for the product. No more worries of itchy fingers transfering ur headlght protector to  their own use and 2 tone paintwork of ur tank if u going take out ur tank pad after prolong use. Yet enjoying the proection both gives in a 'invisible' manner.

Big ups for this product and the workmanship. I definitely recommend this to anyone who treasures their bikes and wish to ride it with peace of mind knowing that there is a measure of protection.

Those with matt colors like mine might not go for for it, but i'd rather have it for its practicality.

As I’ve only recently got a new bike (06R6), I decided to give it a try as I would be doing a lot of track riding.
Product comes in a big sheet, all pre-cut with a mind boggling 20 pcs!!! The installer was ‘top notch’ in workmanship, very detail & careful.
Took 2 hours to finish my bike but very professionally done. Under close inspection , the ‘film’ makes the bodyworks even more glossy & shining!
After 2 session of my trackdays, the ‘film’ really protect the paintworks from road debris, gravel, stones etc. 2 thumbs up for this product”

i was one of the 1st few whom ar2 performance contacted to try out their "race shield".. being an owner of a spankin new 06 r6.. naturally i was delighted to gif it a go.. the end result was better then wat i expected.. the film on the bike was virtually invisible.. so it doesnt spoil the look of ur bike in anyway..

ever since my bike was 'race shield-ed'.. i ride wif carefree abandon.. no fear of rocks or watsoever damagin my beautiful paintwork.. to everyone n anyone who loves n pamper their bike.. race shield is a must-buy..
